This website is run by Rudvi Foods and Products, Raichur, Karnataka, India. If you have a question about this policy or about your information, contact us using the details at the end of this page.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), enquiry type, product and message.
- Orders: when you check out, the name, mobile number, delivery address, delivery preferences and note you type are put into a WhatsApp message on your own device, together with your delivery location. We deliver within a set distance of our Raichur and Manvi stores, so to place an order you either tap “Use my current location” and allow it in your browser, or use “Find this address on the map”. Your browser then works out, on your own device, which store is within delivery distance, and the order message names that store and goes to its WhatsApp number. Your details reach us only when you press Send in WhatsApp; the website itself does not send them to us or to any server. The small map that previews your pin is loaded from Google Maps, which receives those coordinates, and “Find this address on the map” sends the area, town and pincode you typed (not your name or phone number) to OpenStreetMap’s address search (see below).
- Phone, WhatsApp and email: the details you choose to share when you contact us directly, such as your number and messages.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the website secure and working.
This website has no user accounts, no online payments and no advertising or analytics trackers.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver your order, and to contact you about it.
- To reply to your enquiry and share product, price and availability information.
- To handle dealer, wholesale and order discussions you start with us.
- To keep normal records of our business communication.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information. We only send you offers or updates if you ask us to.
Services that help run this website
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) delivers enquiry form messages to our Gmail inbox.
- Google provides Gmail, the map on our contact page (Google Maps), the small map that shows your pinned location at checkout, and the website's fonts (Google Fonts). When these load, Google may receive your IP address and set its own cookies; the checkout map also sends Google the coordinates it shows.
- OpenStreetMap (the OpenStreetMap Foundation) runs the address search behind “Find this address on the map”. It receives the area, town and pincode you search for, with your IP address, and returns the place on the map; see the OpenStreetMap privacy policy.
- WhatsApp handles any message you choose to send us there.
- YouTube hosts our channel, which our website links to.
- Hostinger hosts this website.
Each of these services handles data under its own privacy policy.
Cookies and browser storage
Our own pages do not set cookies. The website keeps a few small notes in your browser: your cart, so it stays with you from page to page; your delivery details, unless you untick “Save my details on this device” at checkout (the box is ticked to start with, and your location and note are never saved); and a note so the opening animation plays once per visit. They stay in your browser and are never sent to us. Unticking “Save my details” removes the saved details straight away, and clearing this website's data in your browser removes everything. The embedded Google Maps may set their own cookies when they load.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and messages only as long as we need them to respond to you and for our normal business records, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To check that we deliver to you, checkout needs your delivery location: you can share your current location, or type your address and find it on the map instead. You can also contact us by phone instead of using the enquiry form.
Children
This website is meant for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
